Abstract

ROYCHEV, V., 2005. Effect of different flower type pollen on cytoembryological processes and structures of ovules of Rusalka seedless grapevine cultivar. Bulg. J. Agric. Sci., 11: 281-288

The effect of different flower type pollen on cytoembryological processes and structures of ovules of seedless cv. Rusalka was studied. Findings showed it did not affect seedlessness essence and character and was expressed as asynchrony at the initiation, conclusion and intensity of embryo sac degeneration processes. Ovules, nucellar space and nucellus growth were more intensive in July, pollen effect being more specific in pollination variants Rusalka x Bolgar and Rusalka x Rupestris du Lot. The shape of structures studied was strongly elongated and reflected most clearly the character of degeneration processes.
