Abstract

VASSILEV, G. N., 2003. The chemical structure and growth-regulating activity of 2-fluorenonylmethylenehydrazides of some biologically active acides. Bulg. J. Agric. Sci., 9: 39–45

It was investigated the relationship between the chemical structure and growth-regulating activity of the new synthesized 2-fluorenonylmethylenehydrazides of biological active benzoic, phenylacetic, 1-naphthylacetic, phenoxyacetic, 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic, 2,4,5-trichlorophenoxyacetic, orotic, 2-, 3- and 4-pyridinecarboxylic, theophylin-7-acetic and theobromin-1-acetic acids on the test system wheat-cucumbers. Some of the substances have distinct inhibiting or stimulating activity toward one or both test-objects.

Key words: chemical structure, growth-regulating activity, 9-fluorenone, 2-fluorenonylmethylenehydrazides, biologically active acids, wheat, cucumbers, herbicides, inhibitors, stimulators, morphactines
