The percentage of fat, proteins, lactose, dry matter in the milk and the quantity of white brined cheese at Ist and IInd lactation of sheep from Blackhead Pleven breed depending on their lineal belonging were the object of this study.
As a result of the study it was established that there is a lineal differentiation of the percentage of fat and proteins in the milk and the quantity of white brined cheese in sheep from the studied breed.
The established coefficients of heritability at Ist and IInd lactation of the trait percentage of proteins in the milk had very high values (h2 = 0.803 and h2 = 0.830).
