Abstract

TODOROVA, M. and R. ANDONOVA, 2004. Incomplete resistance of some winter wheat cultivars against Puccinia recondita f. sp. tritici. Bulg. J. Agric. Sci., 10: 429-434

Nine Bulgarian winter wheat cultivars were tested for incomplete resistance using AUDPC as criteria. Trials were done at adult plant stage under field conditions. The level of resistance of the tested cultivars was different according to the susceptible cultivar Michigan Amber. The lowest AUDPC was found with the cultivars Pryaspa, Zora, Preslav and Elitza. Laska, Albena and Milena showed relatively the same level of AUDPC, whereas the cultivars Todora, Enola and Kristal expressed the highest AUDPC. Some of the tested cultivars, like Pryaspa, Preslav and Todora, have been studied for many years and could be classified as durable resistant.
