Synthesis and Cytokinin Activity of some Adducts of Diethyl Esters of Benzylphosphonic Acid with Different Ketones

New group of biologically active substances with high cytokinin activity is discovered. The cytokinin activity is determined by the Amaranthus-bioassay and by the bioassay of tobacco callus tissue. Our investigations on the synthesis and biological characterization of new organophosphorus compounds will continue with regard to the discovery of new growth regulators with cytokinin activity.
