Abstract

TOMLEKOVA, N, L. KRASTEVA, I. PORYAZOV and P. IVANOV, 2001. Conformity of electrophoretic families of Phaseolus vulgaris L. collection samples in Bulgaria with morphological and economic indexes. III. Productivity. Bulg. J. Agric. Sci., 7: 403-407

Accessions of the common beans local germplasm were studied. Dependence in the distribution of accessions, grouped by the gene pools of Phaseolus vulgaris (Andean and meso-American), including the phaseolin types, that distribute them in these two groups was established on one hand and on the other – groupings in economic character productivity, used in Bulgaria.
The representatives of the Andean gene pool in Bulgarian collection were most often connected with very low productivity. A low productivity predominates in the meso-American germplasm accessions. The “T” and “S” phaseolin type distribution by the groups of productivity repeats the distribution of the corresponding gene pool.
