Abstract

The content of macrobiogenic elements N, P. K. Ca and Mg and microbiogenic elements Zn, Mn, Cu and Fe (in mg/kg) in the fractions of the phytomass during the vegetation period of Cynodon dactylon + Festuca valesiaca is investigated in close interaction with the properties and characteristics of the Vertisols from the Sofia field.
The quantitative results obtained are major and important indicators for determining the intensity of the processes of metabolism and their prognostication, the mineral nutrition and the biogeoecological rotation of the substances. The relative values of the content of N, P, K, Ca and Mg in the fractions of the phytomass do not vary within wide limits during the period of the vegetation.
The average annual balance done is assessed as positive.
