Abstract

NIKOLOV, A. and I. BONEVA, 1999. Fungicidal activity of natural plant products against powdery mildew and apple scab. Bulg. J. Agric. Sci., 5: 979-981

In greenhouse conditions experimental screening tests of plant extracts and formulated substances from fam. Compositae and Umbeliferae towards Venturia inaequalis and Podosphaera leucotricha has been carried out.
It was established that the methanolic extracts (MeOH) from plant TO (fam. Compositae) in concentrations 1% 2% showed 71%- 76% technical efficiency (T.E) against apple scab. The formulated substance TOS in 1% between 80% 84% respectively. The same extracts in rate 2% 3% showed between 55% and 74% T.E, formulated TOS in 1% showed 78% against Podosphaera leucotricha.
The MeOH extracts from plant AD in rate 0.1-1% showed 71-84% T.E and formulated ADS in 0.5% 90% T.E against apple scab. The same extracts in concentrations 2% and 3% showed 54% and 73% T.E, ADS in 0.5% 78% T.E against Podosphaera leucotricha.
