This is a study of theoretical model of optimal levels of energy consumption in grain production in different production conditions, elaborated by the author. The most characteristic points of the theoretical model were studied and their values established. The marginal possible value of the coefficient of energy efficiency, which gives a physical sense to the theoretic model, was established.
It was established that the multiplying effect of solar energy in grain crops is the highest at an optimal level of energy expenditures and moderate yield level. The basic equation of the energy difference in grain crops has only one maximum at an optimal level of energy expenditures and moderate energy return levels. The maximum value of the energy difference in grain crops is equal to the sum of the maximum value of the multiplying effect of solar energy and a constant value C.
It was established that in order for the basic equation of the energy difference to have a maximum value at a current value of energy expenditures, it is necessary that the maximum possible energy returns of grain crops at a respective level of energy expenditures are bigger than value C.
